In order to assess if you are suitable for Lipofirm plus treatment a detailed medical history will be taken and consent form completed.

 

Lipofirm plus is not suitable if:

 

• You have kidney or liver disease

• You have a pacemaker or other electronic device fitted

• You are pregnant or breastfeeding

• You have high cholesterol or triglycerides

• You have a metal implant in the area

• You have an impaired immune system

• You have severe illness such as lupus, cardiac disorders, epilepsy, Crohn’s or ulcerative colitis

• You have poorly controlled diabetes

• You have keloid scarring

• You have had a tattoo in the area within the last 6 months

 

Does Lipofirm plus plus hurt?

 

No, it is completely pain free. The radiofrequency feels warm and during the ultrasound cavitation you will hear a high pitched noise (only you can hear this!)
